CCBD Subdivisions
CCBD currently includes 21 active Subdivisions throughout the United States and Canada. Subdivision activities build the capacity of CCBD members residing in their respective states or provinces.
Subdivision activities typically include: the election of officers and committee chairs; hosting of conferences, conventions, workshops, and training opportunities; dissemination of newsletters and other forms of communication; providing advocacy, political involvement, and leadership in the field; collaboration with community and professional organizations; also addressing the needs of children and youth with emotional and behavioral disorders; in addition to providing support to educators and families.
